Canada Haiti Action Network
The Canada Haiti Action Network mail list serves to provide basic news and information about the situation in Haiti and in particular, the role of the Canadian government and Canadian corporations during and following the overthrow of the elected government and president, Jean Bertrand Aristide, in February 2004.
Following the earthquake of January 12, 2010, it is all the more urgent that Canadians act to pressure their government and its international allies to cease their interference and intervention in Haiti's internal affairs and accord to the Haitian government and its authentic, popular organizations the massive assistance that is due to them.
Posts to this list are primarily in English, but French and Kreyol language material is welcome. We ask that debates or exchanges among groups or individuals on the list be taken off list. And that readers work with us to limit list volumes. Postings requesting information should be directed to other sources.
